Donations

Gift of Cash or checks: This would be a direct way to contribute for charitable tax credits. Please send directly to WEF. We will send you an official WEF receipt for your donation.

Wegene Plan: This would be a way to make a monthly commitment to support Wegene by making automatic donations directly form a bank account. Please contact us to arrange the details.

Other ways you can help

¢ Purchasing unique gifts that are provided by the Wegene Ethiopian Foundation. Some of the items provided are poetry booklets, pens, hats, T-shirts, dolls, towels, etc.
¢ Transporting clothing, shoes, accessories, stationary etc. when traveling to Ethiopia.
¢ Finding caregivers who reside in Ethiopia.
¢ Visiting the Wegene families while staying in Ethiopia.
¢ Sponsoring Wegene’s children for private education.
¢ Finding job and training opportunities for Wegene mothers through network of friends and families residing in Ethiopia.
¢ Volunteering time during Wegene’s yearly fundraising and activities.
¢ Sharing ideas, information and experiences with the foundation.

Mission Statement


	WEF aims to provide positive change to extremely disadvantaged children residing in Ethiopia. WEF aim to foster goodwill and hope among poor Ethiopian families. Our grass root campaign is an attempt to challenge every Ethiopian residing in the United States to help those that are less fortunate in Ethiopia. WEF strives to forge a long-lasting partnership between those less fortunate children in Ethiopia and Ethiopians that reside in the United States. WEF's main focus is to improve the everyday lives of less fortunate children and their families in Ethiopia.
